Aramid 1414 filament

Aramid 1414 filament is a composite material developed and manufactured by DuPont Company in 1965. It combines the excellent characteristics of high strength and light weight. Under the same weight condition, it is 5 times as strong as steel wire, 2.5 times as strong as E-grade glass fiber and 10 times as strong as aluminum. It is considered as the strongest fiber in the world, and is widely used in fire fighting, military industry, security, communication, reinforcement and other fields. Since then, China, Japan and South Korea have successively developed and produced. Although the price is very competitive, the quality and performance are far from each other. Excellent temperature resistance, Kevlar has high stability in temperature performance. It can not only be used continuously in the temperature range of -196℃ to 204℃ without obvious change or loss, but also has insolubility and no combustion-supporting (fire resistance). It only starts to carbonize at 427℃, and even at the low temperature of -196℃, there is no embrittlement and performance loss, and it can endure temperatures as high as.
