Characteristics and application of nylon rope safety rope

High strength, wear resistance, durability, mildew resistance, acid and alkali resistance, simplicity and portability. Instructions for use: Every time you use the safety rope, you must make a visual inspection. During use, you should also pay attention to it. You should test it once in half a year to ensure that the main components are not damaged. If any damage or deterioration is found, report it in time and stop using it to ensure safe operation.

The safety rope must be inspected before use. If it is found to be damaged, stop using it. When wearing it, the movable clip should be fastened tightly, and it is not allowed to touch open flames and chemicals.

Always keep the safety rope clean and store it properly after use. After it is dirty, it can be cleaned with warm water and soapy water and dried in the shade. It is not allowed to soak in hot water or burn in the sun.

After one year’s use, it is necessary to make a comprehensive inspection, and take out 1% of the used parts for tensile test, and the parts are deemed as qualified without damage or major deformation (those that have been tried shall not be used again).

Safety rope is a protective article to prevent workers from falling from high places. Because the greater the height of the fall, the greater the impact, therefore, the safety rope must meet the following two basic conditions:

(1) Must have enough strength to bear the impact force when the human body falls;

(2) it can prevent the human body from falling to a certain limit that can cause injury (that is, it should be able to pick up the human body before this limit and stop falling). This condition needs to be explained again. When the human body falls from a height, if it exceeds a certain limit, even if the person is pulled with a rope, the internal organs of the human body will be damaged and die because of the excessive impact. For this reason, the length of the rope should not be too long, and there should be a certain limit.

Safety ropes usually have two strength indexes, namely tensile strength and impact strength. National standards require that the tensile strength (ultimate tensile force) of seat belts and their strings must be greater than the longitudinal tensile force caused by the weight of human body in the falling direction.

Impact strength requires the impact strength of safety ropes and accessories, and must be able to withstand the impact force caused by human falling in the falling direction. Usually, the magnitude of the impact force is mainly determined by the weight of the person falling and the falling distance (i.e. the impact distance), and the falling distance is closely related to the length of the safety rope. The longer the lanyard, the greater the impact distance, and the greater the impact force. Theoretically, the human body will be injured if it is impacted by 900kg. Therefore, the length of the safety rope should be limited to the shortest range on the premise of ensuring the operation activities.
