Dyeing process of ribbon braided rope

Ribbon can be used as one of garment accessories and one of textiles. There are two primary ways to dye the ribbon. The braided rope is the most widely used dyeing (conventional dyeing), and the ribbon is first treated in a chemical dye solution. Another method is to use paint to make the paint into small insoluble colored particles to adhere to the fabric (except for the dyeing of fiber stock solution). Here is a brief introduction to the dyeing process of ribbon.

Dye is a complex organic substance, and there are many kinds of it.

1, acid dyes, mostly suitable for protein fiber and nylon fiber and silk. It is characterized by beautiful color, poor washing degree and excellent dry cleaning degree, and is widely used in natural dead dyeing.

2. Cationic dye (alkaline fuel) is suitable for acrylic fiber, polyester fiber, nylon fiber and protein fiber. It is characterized by beautiful color and is suitable for man-made fibers, but it is poor in washing and light fastness when used for natural cellulose and protein fabrics.

3. Direct dyes, suitable for cellulose fiber fabrics, have poor washing fastness and different light fastness, but their washing chromaticity will be improved well through modified direct dyes.

4, disperse dyes, suitable for viscose, acrylic, nylon, polyester, etc., washing fastness is different, polyester is better, viscose is worse.

5, azo fuel (Nafto dye), suitable for cellulose fabrics, beautiful color, more suitable for beautiful color.

6, reactive dyes, mostly used in cellulose fiber fabrics, less used in protein. It is characterized by beautiful color, light resistance, good washing and conflict resistance.

7. Sulfide dyes, suitable for cellulose fiber fabrics, are dull in color, mainly navy blue, black and brown. They have excellent light resistance and washing resistance, and poor chlorine bleaching resistance. Storing the fabrics for a long time will damage the fibers.

8, vat dyes, suitable for cellulose fiber fabrics, good light resistance, washing degree, and resistance to chlorine bleaching and other oxidative bleaching.
