Generally speaking, if pictures are printed on the ribbon, the most widely used printing process is screen printing, which is referred to as screen printing for short, and screen printing processing is to make printed ribbon.
First of all, according to the customer’s requirements or customer’s samples, the types of ribbon and the establishment of printing technology are analyzed. For example, the types of ribbon are divided into general quality ribbons, polyester ribbons, snow ribbons, cotton ribbons and so on. Printing processes include manual screen printing, rotary water-based printing, hot stamping, thermal transfer printing and so on. Here, we only introduce the silk screen processing.
According to the samples, the printed drawings are made, and the printed plates are made, that is, the printing screen frame, which is partially hollowed out according to the pictures to be printed, and can convey the color of the ink paste through the hollowed-out parts.
According to the sample or customer’s requirements, the printing color can be modulated according to Pantone color card number or sample color, and only as a reference, the ink paste color can be modulated as the printing color. Generally speaking, common colors can be printed.
The ribbon is laid flat on the printing table, and the prepared ink slurry is embossed and transported to the surface of the ribbon through the hollowed-out part of the printing screen frame, thus forming the required graphic logo, English letters and other types, and can be rolled and shipped after drying.
