Polyester sewing thread

Polyester fiber is a kind of high-quality synthetic fiber, which is used to make stitches with high strength, ranking second only to nylon thread among all kinds of stitches, and it will not reduce its strength in wet state. Its shrinkage is very small, and the shrinkage is less than 1% after proper setting, so the sewn stitches can always be flat and beautiful without shrinkage. Wear resistance is second only to nylon. Low moisture regain, good high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, light resistance and water resistance. Therefore, polyester thread is a widely used variety, which has replaced cotton sewing thread on many occasions. Polyester thread has a wide range of uses. It can be used to sew clothes of cotton fabric, chemical fiber fabric and blended fabric, and can also be used to sew knitted coats. The special polyester thread is also an excellent thread for shoes, hats and leather industry.
Polyester is also called high-strength thread, nylon sewing thread is called nylon thread, and it is usually called (pearlescent thread). Polyester sewing thread is twisted with long or short polyester fibers, which is wear-resistant, low in shrinkage and good in chemical stability. However, it has low melting point, easy melting at high speed, blocking needle holes and easy breaking. Polyester thread is widely used in garment sewing of cotton fabrics, chemical fibers and blended fabrics because of its advantages of high strength, good wear resistance, low shrinkage, good hygroscopicity and heat resistance, corrosion resistance, no mildew and insect damage. In addition, it has the characteristics of complete color, good color fastness, no fading, no discoloration, sun resistance and so on.
The difference between polyester sewing thread and nylon sewing thread: when polyester is lit, it emits black smoke, and the smell is not heavy and there is no elasticity, while when nylon sewing thread is lit, it also emits white smoke, and when pulled up, it has a strong elastic smell. High wear resistance, good light resistance, mildew resistance, coloring degree of about 100 degrees, low temperature dyeing. It is widely used because of its high seam strength, durability and flat seam, which can meet the needs of a wide range of sewing industrial products.
