1. Screen printing
Luminous rope screen printing is to stretch silk fabric, synthetic fiber fabric or metal screen on a screen frame, and make a screen printing plate by etching paint film or photochemical plate making. Modern screen printing technology is to use photosensitive materials to make screen printing plates by photographic plate making (so that the screen holes in the graphic part of the screen printing plate are through holes, but the screen holes in the non-graphic part are blocked). When printing, the ink is kneaded by the scraper, so that the ink is transferred to the substrate through the mesh of the graphic part to form the same graphic as the original. Screen printing equipment is simple, easy to operate, printing and plate making are simple, with low cost and strong adaptability.
Luminous rope is divided into general ink printing, rotary printing, foaming printing, thermosetting printing, hard plastic printing and so on. Generally, gold stamping and silver stamping are printed by screen printing. Disadvantages are: the color is limited, and the length of the artwork needs to be relatively short. At present, for the convenience of the factory, the general printing will leave the edge, and the edge of the ribbon is not printed, so it is more suitable for printing.
2. Thermal transfer printing
Transfer printing technology is also widely used in the gift profession, especially in the manufacture of lanyards. This process has low cost and good effect. Luminous rope has a definite price advantage when printing dot pictures, and thermal transfer rope belongs to definite environmental protection, so it is also widely liked by customers and friends.
In the manufacture of luminous rope thermal transfer hanging rope, the embryo belt is generally white, and the background color and characters and pictures contained on the whole rope are sublimated. Luminous rope thus provides great convenience for users to plan the whole function of lanyard, and theoretically, lanyard can be manufactured according to any color picture of customers. However, in the traditional hanging rope screen printing process, customers’ pictures and LOGO are generally printed on the colored ribbon, and most gift manufacturers can only print solid color plates due to the limitation of capital, which makes it difficult to operate when there are many colors, and the products are high. And it is simply biased. Heat transfer, so the whole picture transfer will not present such a situation.
The luminous rope has rich pictures and unlimited colors. Color is less, the price is higher than that of screen printing, and it is more suitable for colorful and difficult to distinguish drawings. The biggest feature is that it has the same softness as the belt and high color fastness.
